Altitude Angular height from the Horizon, of an object in the sky.
Azimuth Drop a perpendicular from an object in the sky,to the Horizon and mark this point P. The angle made while starting from the direction North and moving eastwards until the point P is reached, is the Azimuth of the celestial object in the sky.
Horizon The horizontal circle formed by moving North-East-South-West along the kshitij where the Earth meets the sky, is the Horizon.
