May 22, 2007 Jupiter occults 10.7 star of scorpius.

May 23, 2007 Moon in it first quater Occultus Regelus in Leo. Can be enjoyed by a modrate binocular or a telescope. Actual Occultation starts at 10 pm and regelus reapears from behind of moon at 11:30 pm.

Naked - Eye Planets 

Venus:    Through out the month it can be seen bright just above the horizon after sunset, in the constellation of Gemini.

Saturn: It will be visible near the nose of the LION (in the leo constellation) through out this month.

Jupiter: It will rise around 9 pm, in Scorpius and moving slowly towards Ophiuchus, faint constellation adjacent to Scorpius. 

Mars: It will rise around 3 am and moving towards Pieces from Aquarius.It will look like a 1 magnitude star in its characteristic red colour.

Mercury: It will rise after sunrise,so this month only four naked eye planets are in the night sky for your treat.
