International Year of Astronomy
In celebration of 400 years of Observations by
Galileo, UNESCO
is
celebrating International Year of Astronomy in 2009. Planetarium
has also decided to use this time to spread awareness and do various activities
for the public of India and specially Delhi.
With the same intensions various projects and workshops has been planed by Planetarium. Many of such activities have all ready started. Few of the ongoing projects are:
We are also trying to do as many sky watch as possible to make people of Delhi aware about the kind of observations and science was contributed by Galileo.
