When it is said that sun spots exist in pair: whenever a solar prominence is there it results in a pair of sunspot i.e. one at the initial point of the prominence but other at the ending point of the loop of the prominence. now the question is Sun spots are relatively cooler regions on the surface of sun so it is possible at the initial point of solar prominence but why is it also there at the end point of loop or i can say how is it possible to have cooler temperature at the point where solar prominence ends or loops back into Sun? How is it possible?
