Awareness Activities for the Delhi Jantar Mantar ObservatoryFollowing our first time activities and observations for the general visitors to the Jantar Mantar Obseravtory, Delhi, on the 29th of March 2004, there have been several occasions when we have conducted awareness activities and public observations with the Jantar Mantar instruments of the Delhi Observatory, notwithstanding that the markings on most of the instruments are currently missing. We just measure the whole dimensions of the instrument and measure the shadow positions using tape measure and come up with useful observations and this has been found to be a very useful excercise judging from the public response during some of these events at the Jantar Mantar.
